  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Onions 2 sliced
  • Lemons 2
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp crushed
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 tbsp crushed
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2 - 3 (garnish)
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (garnish)
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. So, In a wok, heat oil and sauté finely sliced onions until golden brown.
  2. Spread fried onion on an absorbent sheet and crush it.
  3. Now add mutton to the pot with white vinegar, turmeric powder, soya sauce and salt,1 and a half cup water.
  4. Cook for 30 to 35 minutes or until meat tenders.
  5. When water is evaporated, add ginger paste, crushed garlic, yogurt, crushed onions and sauté briefly.
  6. Then add crushed black pepper, red chili flakes and juice of lemons and allow cooking for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green chilies and coriander and serve.
