Take a bowl and put sugar and butter and beat until creamy. Strain baking powder and flour. Now add eggs one by one with 1 tbsp dry mixture and beat well. Then put remaining dry mixture, vanilla essence or lemon essence and yellow colour, mix well. Check consistency of mixture and add milk. Now put this mixture in 6 inchsquare cake pan and bake in preheated oven on180ºC for 25 to 30 minutes. Then take it out from the oven and let it cool down for about 5 min, then cut in slices and again bake until crispy and golden brown on 150ºC for 15 to 20 minutes. Now enjoy Cake Rusk with tea.
